Check Engine Light Problems
Almost all modern vehicles are equipped with a computer module which controls the operation of the vehicle's engine and transmission. This computer system has a self-testing capability and when the computer identifies a potential problem it lights the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" lights to notify you of the issue.
If your vehicle has been back to the dealer many times for repair of a defective check engine light, you could be driving a lemon! Research the lemon law in your state, its possible that your check engine light problems might qualify you for a refund or replacement under the Federal Lemon Law or State Lemon Laws.
